South Africa, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, various other East European countries, Canada, Greenland, Spain, Morocco, Japan, South Korea, Philippines, Cuba.
Are some geographic regions free of nuclear weapons by agreement? YES!
Under the Seabed Treaty (1971), states undertake not to emplant or emplace on the seabed and the ocean floor and in the subsoil beyond the outer limit of a seabed zone any nuclear weapons or any other types of weapons of mass destruction as well as …….facilities specifically designed for storing, testing or using such weapons.

Under the Outer Space Treaty (1967), states undertake not to place in orbit around the Earth any objects carrying nuclear weapons or any other kinds of weapons of mass destruction, nor to install such weapons on celestial bodies, or station such weapons in outer space in any other manner. The Moon and other celestial bodies shall be used by all States Parties to the Treaty exclusively for peaceful purposes. The establishment of military bases, installations and fortifications, the testing of any type of weapons and the conduct of military maneuvers on celestial bodies shall be forbidden. The use of military personnel for scientific research or for any other peaceful purposes shall not be prohibited.
