PRACTICAL STEPS TO ZERO NUCLEAR WEAPONS: TAKE ACTION
Sample Letter to the Prime Minister and Officials:
>Dear Prime Minister _____ and Minister _____
Canada has excellent opportunities to support practical steps toward nuclear disarmament at NATO, the United Nations Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty Review Conference, and at the G8 meeting.
I call on you and your government to call for an end to NATOs reliance upon nuclear weapons, including the removal of US nuclear weapons from Europe, and to do preparatory work on an international treaty banning and eliminating nuclear weapons.
Your role could be a critical one in improving global security. Please do not waste these rare opportunities for important action.
Sincerely,
[your name]
